July 19, 2013 - Bert Trautmann, a former West Germany and Manchester City goalkeeper died Friday at his home in Spain. He was 89. Trautmann, a German WWII paratrooper and former prisoner of war, helped Manchester City win the 1956 FA Cup despite playing with a broken neck for the last 17 minutes of the game.
