More than £90 million of Scottish Government funding is being allocated to help local authorities support households facing hardship in 2024-25. The funding is being supplied through the Discretionary Housing Payments scheme and can be made to households where the local housing allowance does not cover their whole rent, or to families in hardship or struggling with housing costs.
