Drawing bronchus epithelium
The bronchial mucosa consists of a prismatic ciliated pseudostratified epithelium, resting on a basal lamina and a lamina propria (connective tissue). Are represented, from bottom to top: - the chorion, in which the blood vessels circulate, - the ciliated epithelial cells (cilia), - the mucus, - the bronchial lumen. The basal lamina and the goblet cells, which secrete mucus, are not represented here.
